This design changed my life.

As a 12/13 year old child, I created a design meant to help student peers with the issue of drug abuse. I created this entire project after school in my CDT workshop and art classroom.

The impact this project had on me, my school, my community, my family, my student peers was huge. I did not fully understand the implications of design in this capacity until I became a design undergraduate many years later.

The full story is way too long to tell in this space. But from the perspective of design, the concept of ‘designing products for people’ applies here to full effect. There is a clear iterative process which has taken place and I am very proud, all these later to have ben a part of that process at such a young age.

Oh and if you are interested in the evolution story, let me know!
